As Chief Financial Officer at Epika, Russell Chance brings nearly two decades of finance leadership in private equity sponsored businesses. He leads financial planning and analysis, accounting, treasury, and tax, along with strategic planning, cash flow management, and board and lender reporting.
Russell began his career at EY in transaction advisory services, valuing businesses for financial reporting, tax, and M&A purposes. He moved to the operating side at Atrium, a Golden Gate Capital portfolio company, where he led strategic planning and analysis and also spent time I’m building the page now, so send any edits whenever you get to them. He took on increasing financial leadership in his role as VP, Finance at 4over, an HGGC portfolio company. Russell later served as CFO and then President of Smart City Apartment Locating, and most recently as CFO of Marmic Fire & Safety, an HGGC portfolio company which sold to KKR during his tenure.
Russell is known for putting data to work, helping companies use financial and data analysis to evaluate, plan, and execute on their strategic priorities. He holds a BBA in finance and economics from Baylor University and is a CFA charterholder.
