As Chief Financial Officer at Epika, John leads Financial Planning & Analysis, Accounting, Treasury, and Tax—bringing a strategic lens to everything from M&A and long-term planning to cash flow management and board-level reporting. His role supports not just the numbers, but the momentum behind Epika’s growth.
Before joining Epika, John served as SVP of Finance, Accounting, Tax, and Treasury at Toppan Merrill. There, he played a key role in the transformation of a $1.2B private equity-backed portfolio company into a streamlined SaaS organization with $400M in recurring revenue. Over 13 years, he led multiple acquisitions, divestitures, and refinancing initiatives, while working closely with executive leadership to shape integration and long-term planning strategies.
John began his finance career with senior leadership roles at global leaders like Honeywell and Cargill. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from the University of Minnesota Duluth and currently serves on the Board of Directors for Rakhma, a nonprofit focused on memory care.
At Epika, John brings a steady hand and a growth-driven mindset to the financial engine powering our coast-to-coast operations. He’s focused on building financial frameworks that scale—supporting our people, our partners, and the promise to keep everything going right.
Behind the leadership team lies years of experience and strong motivation to keep our fleets and drivers safe and on the right track. From fixing cars on the roadside to making sure everything follows regulations, they ensure no service falls short. With their leadership, EPIKA ensures dependability, the use of cutting-edge trends, and a focus on continuous uptime.
